Accounting is a very important job in school administration. Aside from careful inspection of internal financial procedures, accounting aims to reach two purposes: to make the university community run as economically as possible and to prevent fraud. To those ends, the accounting office applies the best practices as they have been developed in the profession of accounting, in order to provide transparency in the external and internal dealings of the university, to assist the school in its business affairs, and to fulfill the purposes of school policy.
